What happens to my document after submission to Etcetera Proofreading?
Shortly after receiving your document and the payment, your submission is assigned to one of our experienced proofreaders who will begin working right away. After completing the editing of your document, it will be checked by our in-house quality assurance editor to ensure that your document benefited from our high standard editing services. Once your document is completed, you will receive an email notifying you that your order is ready.
How do you deal with private and personal documents?
All personal information and documents are treated confidentially. Only our team will have access to the the order system. All our employees have signed a strict confidentiality agreement. Moreover, Etcetera Proofreading uses 256-bit SSL encryption for all communication between your computer and our website.
What format of document do you accept?
We accept word documents (.doc or .docx) in order to be able to edit your document rapidly. After completing your order, you'll receive two files, one showing tracked changes in your document, and the second a clean file ready to use.
What happens if I am not satisfied with your service?

For example, if your document was a manuscript which has been entirely edited by Etcetera Proofreading, we guarantee that it should not be rejected for publication because of poor English. If so, you have 30 days to send the document back to us. Our in-house editor will be happy to assist you to make sure your document meets our standard.

Can I cancel my order?
Our turnaround at Etcetera Proofreading is fast! Our editors start working on your document shortly after submission. However, in the event you decide to cancel your order, you may do so within 30 minutes of submission and your fee will be fully refunded. If the cancellation was requested after 30 minutes of submission and before the delivery of your edited document, you will be charged 80% of the full price.
